Practical course on responsible integration of AI in academic research and writing (2025-2026)

4practical modules

About the course

This course was created for researchers, teachers, and academic professionals who wanted to integrate artificial intelligence into their daily work — responsibly, efficiently, and without losing control over quality.

It wasn’t a course about theory or hype. It was a hands-on program, where participants learned to use concrete AI tools for research, writing, and data analysis. Each module included live demonstrations and practical exercises that could be applied right away.

The course was delivered as part of a PNRR project of the "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, for over 250 participants in 3 series.

Methodology

Practically, not theoretically — Each module included live demonstrations and exercises that participants did on their laptops, with their own research materials.

TRACE Framework — A structured method for building effective prompts: Task, Context, Request, Action, Example.

Critical thinking — The focus was on critical evaluation of AI results, not blind trust. We actively discussed hallucinations, limitations, and ethical risks.

Flexible format — The course was delivered online, via Zoom. Recordings were made available to participants for replay.
